    Description

    Fresh from an Arkansas estate is this American Brilliant Period cut glass pitcher/jug. The "squatty pitcher" stands 8" tall and 6" wide across the bottom. The handle is GORGEOUS and perfectly annealed---with diamonds cut down to the base. The diamonds and sunbursts are spectacular on this pitcher.  The elderly couple said the pitcher was made by LIBBEY but I find no markings. The pitcher is in VERY GOOD condition---with two minor 'chips' or chigger bites on the serrated edge on top. For a 100 year-old pitcher, the piece is Gorgeous---with appropriate wear to the base from sitting on a shelf. The heavy pitcher---over 4 pounds--- could hold cider, wine, champagne, iced tea, or water---perfect for a holiday table or buffet!  Cutting is in the “Harvard” pattern. I will box carefully and bubble wrap for better safety in mailing.
